| Unacceptable | Unable to perform cell count on clotted specimens.
Do not send syringe with attached needle. |
| Specimen Transportation | ASAP to laboratory at room temperature. |
| Paediatric Requirements | Aspirated fluid in a sterile pottle PLUS anticoagulated tube (purple top EDTA) if possible
